Since childhood I’ve envisioned myself as a wise and loving educator who could foster a nurturing learning environment for my students.
I intend to make my future students feel heard and seen so that they feel equipped to care about themselves and others. That is the foundation for sustained social justice.

Teaching Philosophy
Creating a supportive learning environment where students can feel comfortable expressing themselves authentically is my main priority.
If students feel safe they will be more likely to ask questions and explore their interests in class.
